Ostrivia runs entirely on your devices — whether you pass one phone round the table, connect a few phones nearby, or play against the bots. The short version: we don't want your data, and we didn't build anything that collects it.
Nothing. Ostrivia has no accounts, no sign-up, no ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Player names you type in stay on your device and are used only to label seats during a game.
Game state (so you can resume an interrupted game) and your settings. This data never leaves your phone, and deleting the app deletes it.
Play Nearby links phones directly over Bluetooth or local Wi‑Fi. Game moves travel only between the devices at your table — nothing is sent to us or to any server. Your operating system will ask for the usual Bluetooth or local-network permission to make this work; that permission is used for nothing else.
If you install Ostrivia through the App Store, Apple may collect standard install and diagnostic statistics under its own privacy policy. We only see the aggregate numbers it shows every developer.
Ostrivia collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if we add online multiplayer one day — we will update this page and the date above before the change ships.
